severe disablement allowance

I hear so much about IB claiments getting called for transfer to ESA. But I want to know how people on severe disablement allowance will fare as I am on SDA ,DLA high for mobility and care (indefinate) I am a wheelchair user on a personal budget from social care , employ my Personal Assistant. Have been on SDA for many years, am married (husband retired) do not receive any other benefits. I understand severe disablement allowance is looked upon as an incapacity benefit but is given when when a person has not worked long enough to receive IB you only receive SDA after medical ect SDA ceased to exist 7? years ago
I do not know if I will receive a letter re ESA WHERE DO I STAND? can any one tell me
Personal budget

People on SDA will be assessed for ESA just as people on IB are. It is possible that you will be transferred on the basis of existing paperwork, or you may have a face-to-face assessment with Atos.

We cannot say when you will be transferred as people do not appear to be being transferred in the sequence which we were originally told they would be.

In relation to your personal budget, this is something we do not advise on here. You will need to contact the provider of it or a welfare rights adviser. Many local authorities are cutting back on funding for care and ILF funding is being drastically cut.
