Got date for ESA Medical!

Hi all

Well, completed my ESA Questionnaire and returned it by 15th Sept. 1 copy was sent to ATOS and another to the DM. I'd enclosed an additional 40 ish extra pages together with supporting evidence from my GP etc., I'd tried to be as informative as I possibly could about how my fluctuating conditions, being Fibro/ME/RA, chronic insomnia and depression severely incapacitate me. I had really, really hoped that I would be spared a medical, but unfortunately not, they've given me a date for Thursday this week.
I am feeling so anxious and depressed, this whole process has had a really detrimental effect on my already bad state of health. I will be massively relieved to get the medical over and done with, but will still be left with that anxious wait for the result!
I'll let you know how it went.

i am also filling in esa form at moment and have severe fibromyalgia. it is a nightmare and is making illness much worse. i have been on ib for 14 years and cannot cope with filling in forms. let me know how your medical goes as i will no doubt have to have one.

It took me 4 - 5 weeks to complete the questionnaire, as due to fatigue and brain fog I had to tackle it bit by bit, so keep plodding on - you'll get there! I'll let you know how I get on on Thursday.

Yes I agree, it still amazes me how poorly understood the condition is. I've had it for about 11 year now. Thank you for your kind words of support, I will let you know how I get on.
