Got date for ESA Medical!

I have ME, and I found none of the medical evidence got through either through DWP or ATOS with ESA50, or via the nurse at medical. I was very niave of the system then, and didn't check that it got through. I suggest you make sure with DWP that all the evidence you have sent has gone through, otherwise you may end up with the decision maker only looking at the ATOS report, as in my case, and I have been awaiting appeal for a year.

All the best, and make sure you say what you can do on a bad day, and only if you can do it reliably and repeatedly. Do say if anything hurts- like sitting in the chair/ any of the stuff they ask you to do- they can't read minds.

Thanks for the advice - it's much appreciated.
Just got a phone call from ATOS, they've cancelled my medical on Thursday and given me a new date, 10th November. Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh !!
I'm so cross, I just want it over and done with, so much stress!

I'm soooooo cross, I just need it to be over with, the stress of this impending medical is making all of my symptoms much, much worse.
Still, must try and keep things in perspective till then, and think positive thoughts!

i had my medical 10 days ago . rteally anxious as had been on IB for a few years . Also found it very hard to fillin form as I have RA and main problems are pain , fatigue and variability which of course aren't measuered . In th end I did say to a lot of the descritors that it varied but stressed pain and fatiuge as a result . I made no attempt on the form to give estimates but noted how many flare-ups I had had in a year when I could do nothing at all .
Took husband for support . HCp was quite pleasant and just asked me alot abouyt all my m,edication which I had sent in on repeat prescriptioon list .I showed her my appointment card for hospital which confirmed how often I was having to go especially in the last year or so . She said I had provided ;ots of detail and she didn't need to do an examination .!( apart from testing my grip}
Obviously I still have to wait for a decsion but. I do feel quite positive . Likw everybody else I have been very stressed and anxiuos about the whole buisnes and really feel for you having to wait yet again .
If I do get it , I will only get it for another year as I am getting it on NI conts . So much for teh years of paying in to the NI scheme. Try to keep positve - I know it is hard .

Hi there I received a letter last week to attend medical for ESA tomorrow. The last one I had was in Oct last year and the doctor advised she thought I would be fit for work in 3 months maybe less!!!! My GP couldn't believe it, applied for DLA and was refused so think that has triggered this new medical. Once again into the breach-will let you know how I get on.
