Based on previous posts, the date in November is the result of limitations in the DWP payment systems, in as much as it can only handle one payment at a time.

As we understand it, the date in November will be when the Christmas Bonus is paid to claimants, once this has gone through the system, claimants normal payments will continue as usual, and without interuption. Everyone should then receive a new letter of entitlement.

It worth noting that your ESA payments cannot be stopped unless you fail the ESA medical (WCA). So even if your letter has an end date on it, this does not mean that your ESA will stop on this date.

Hope this explains it.

Hi Helchis, you will still be paid fortnightly but the payment day may change.

DWP will take that into account though and pay accordingly.

Best wishes,
Rachel

To be honest I doubt it.

I'm pretty certain that the day of the week that ESA is paid will depend on your National Insurance Number.
