Sent off the letter asking for permission to Appeal to the Upper Tribunal re the decision taken that I was not entitled to any award of DLA at all. Reply came today. Judge has set aside the decision and decided a new Tribunal has to hear the appeal as there was an error in law with previous decision. Two slots have to be booked, must be to ensure all evidence is heard this time. No guarantee I will be successful this time just happy to have got this far :cheer:

Upper Tribunal Judges ( formerly Social Security Commissioners) usually deal with First-tier Tribunal decisions in this manner.

Two slots will be 80 minutes as the Clerk to the Tribunal will normally in accordance with TS procedure, one slot is 40 minutes.

My advice as Pete has already stated, would be to try to get some help from a Welfare Rights Adviser to help put your appeal together, and if possible to represent you at appeal.
