TOPIC: Medical evidence

Medical evidence 5 years 11 months ago #72252

Hi just a quick question on medical evidence, I have medical evidence for my condition since about 2000, the last letter from my specialist is dated February this year, would this be current enough to send off with my ESA50 form when it arrives.

Yes, any relevant medical evidence should be sent with the ESA50 when it arrives, and any such evidence can be included if you think it would be helpful towards the WCA.

Ultimately, it would be up to Atos/the ESA decision maker to decide whether it is relevant for the purposes of the WCA, but it should be considered as part of the decision-making process.

Hi,
I was told that they neede updated medical reports from specialists preferably within the year, as ones condition may have improved with reports that go back a few years.

My husband was discharged from all consultants 3 years ago as nothing more could be done.

Radhika.
