First payment after transfering to esa from ib

My switch over date is the 17/11. My IB has always been paid on a Tuesday - so I wonder if it will change to a Wednesday as my NI number ends with 50...?

Payment dates do change following a transfer to a different Social Security Benefit.

I had my first ESA payment today,I should have had my 1st payment on 4th Oct,so had 4 weeks money today.

My Transfer date was 15 October and my money was not in my Bank account.I phoned the Number on my award notice and was told that there was a "computer blip"to blame and that someone would phone me back within the hour. That did not happen, so I phoned again and was told that my money would be in my Account by 6pm that evening. To my surprise it was there.

hi i phoned to check what day my payment will be and was told it would be the same day.but going by what gordon has said it will change to monday.is it because ib was paid in a day earlier than the payment date

Please check the answer given by Gordon against your last 2 NI numbers regarding ESA -

ESA is normally paid fortnightly in arrears, the day payment is made is determined using the last two digit of your National Insurance Number.

00 to 19 Monday
20 to 39 Tuesday
40 to 59 Wednesday
60 to 79 Thursday
80 to 99 Friday
