DLA medical was terrible

Thanks for your replies.
I suppose I should just wait and see now but part of me feels I should complain.
I don't want to wait until the decision and then complain-it looks like sour grapes if the decision does not go in my favour.
It is the process and the way the questions were phrased that is my issue, no matter what the outcome.
I am sure many others have gone through a similiar experience so I will scour this forum and seek your suggestions.
Time is not on my side really.
Would I contact ATOS to complain or the DWP and would the decision maker give me a copy of the report prior to their decision or does it come after?

Yes, you can request the medical report from the DWP. You should be able to request it over the phone from the DWP, however, some members have had problems getting documentation, so be prepared to to follow up in writing if necessary.

I rang the DWP over 2 weeks ago and requested this but they still haven't sent it.
The guy who answered the phone said he would send an email requesting it to be forwarded to me.
They drive me crazy.
I have been reading some of the documents on here and cannot believe how my medical was carried out and that the Dr should have read out the report to me and got me to sign it at the end.
I will be starting my complaint tomorrow and will keep you all informed of my journey.
First step is the local Law Centre who I see have purchased this great package.
Second is an aquaintance of mine who happens to be our MP.
I feel as though I am going to have a bit of a struggle on my hands with this.

I think your MP will be your best asset here. If they're on your side you have a powerful ally. I'd be greatly heartened if I were you and that's the case. Don't get too downhearted before the worst even happens, eh?

What hope is there if the doctors doing the assessing don't understand that you can have a need for help with something like getting up, even if you don't actually receive any help. Of course you have to manage somehow if you are living alone!

I emailed my MP today and got a reply within a couple of hours from his office manager.
He said the MP would be contacting ATOS and he will be in touch with me when he gets their reply.
I'm not sure whether I should still write to ATOS and officially do the complaint.
What do you think is the correct prceedure?
I would appreciate your suggestions.
