Help needed re medical assesment to appeal

I need to ask you the friend i care for, was on Incapacity benefit so was not getting ESA, yes i read in the appeals section she has to state she wants to remain on the ESA assesment phase ? what does she say to this as her IB stops on the 18/11/2011

Hi SC,

You need to appeal ASAP,if that is your decision using form GL24.

To receive assessment rate of ESA, you will also have to provide Med Certs (sick note/fit notes) from your G.P.

These sick notes should cover you from the period on non award of ESA.

As Gordon says it may help to contact CAB.

Please be aware that if you delay to long in submitting the GL24, and the G.P. sick notes, that this may cause a gap of non payment of Assessment Rate ESA.

Sorry me again, i am confused, i have filled in the GL24 and it says on there letter and i quote:

If you appeal against the decision that you are not entitled to ESA following the WCA you maybe able to to recieve ESA until the appeal is decided,

We can only consider paying you this upon reciept of a valid appeal ????, and you may need to supply us with med certs while appealing. My question is her IB is stopping on 18/11/2011 what does she do for money if has to wait for them to say she can get assessment phase ESA is this right ????
