CB 365 day for life?

This makes a mockery of the whole system, and people who are still employed should take note of what theyre paying taxes and national ins for when this can happen to them if they become ill.
When in work we have to pay as single people nat insurance stamps, taxes etc etc, then if we need help when we are ill, we may find we cannot get any help, if we have partners husbands wives, as we are then not treated as individuals.
The whole thing is wrong................

If you are now in receipt of Income Related ESA( it should tell you this on your ESA award letter) the 365 day limitation does not count.

Hi TCP, if you are on ESA (CB), you'll go on ESA (IR), if you are in the WRAG.

If you are in the Support Group on ESA (CB) nothing will change.

As you will see it is currently at committee stage, it is expected to be passed as law in April 2012, there may yet be some ammendments to the bill.
