Hi,

Just a pertinent note from my own recent experience with my GP. He told me he hadn't been contacted by Atos or the DWP about my condition - in fact, he'd never been contacted by them regards any of his patients in all the time he'd been at the practice (several years in his case).

For what it's worth, he described the whole ESA process as, quote: sh#te: unquote.

It may very well be the case that Atos will not contact a claimant's GP, because in so doing they may receive a response that is beneficial to the patient thereby throwing a spanner into the works!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
