Does DLA affect the DIG

I have just been awarded DLA (lrm & hrc). I am also currently in receipt of ESA (support group with DIG) can you tell me if getting DLA would affect the DIG component of ESA, or has this got nothing to do with it? thanks

Hi MG,

Your award of HRC should raise the amount of Minimum Disability Income Guarantee that you are assessed as needing.

I would send copy of your HRC award letter to the office dealing with your ESA.

You may be entitled to a further top-up, depending on your personal income circumstances.
