Migrating from IB Turned Down For ESA was created by Lima6
Migrating from IB my husband has been turned down for ESA. We got an appeal form and it has now been submitted.
We've been to CAB, the man there took one look at hubby, one look at his "nul point" score sheet and said he it never ceased to amaze him how many were being turned down like that. The DWP never even contacted his GP or his Consultant before coming to a decision.
As well as his physical problems, he struggles at the best of times, he's increasingly finding it difficult to speak to people he doesn't know and I have to deal with paperwork and telephone calls as he just gets himself worked up into too much of a state.
What I forgot to ask at the CAB when we filled out the appeal form was, does he need to get any sick/fit notes from his GP while the appeal process is underway and if so who do I need to send them to.

You will need to supply sick notes covering the period from the date of the Decision until your hearing is held.
