Support Group question please? was created by sparkleangel
I am currently in ESA WRAG, N.I. contribution based. I put in an appeal for the Support Group last summer, as my condition has severely deteriorated over the the past year. If I get moved to the Support Group, will I receive N.I contribution based ESA from April 2012? I am confused about the 365 day rule, as I will have spent sometime in the WRAG group. So worried about this and many thanks in advance for any answers.

The provision will be retrospective, so any time you have already spent in either the assessment phase or the WRAG will count towards the 365 days.

Thank you for your answer and the link but I am still confused (feeling really unwell today,doesn't help). If I am placed in the Support Group by revision or appeal, will this interrupt the 365 days and mean I will continue to received N.I. ESA from April 2012 because I am then in the S.G. Sorry to be a pain and many thanks for your help and time.

The Welfare Reform Bill which enables this change has still not been passed into legislation and there are still a number of amendments to the relevant clause which would affect its operation, so at this time it is impossible to give a difinitive answer.Thank you for your answer and the link but I am still confused (feeling really unwell today,doesn't help).
