Phone call after the medical?

hi have they rung you could you please share what they wanted to speak to you abaout cheers

Yes they phoned me.

It was to inform me that I had failed the medical and now have to go on JSA in three weeks time

I'm stunned. Just lost for words.

I did everything possible. I filled out everything correctly, and sent in supporting evidence. But I do remember that I never saw the supporting evidence on the desk at the medical.

The medical seemed to go fine, I just can't understand what went wrong.

The same happened to me 5 weeks ago phone call,failed medical,told i could claim JSA,you can appeal,if you do the B&W appeals guide Nov 11 is excellent.

I have lodged my appeal and am being paid assessment rate,from my experience so far the Dwp are in no hurry to send out ESA85,ESA65 etc still not got mine after 5 weeks(phoned twice, sent 3 letters)

You should receive a standard letter in the next few days just to confirm no ESA.
The way these medicals are carried out,and the way Atos interpret our answers and make assumptions it is know wonder so many people fail.

I am going to appeal , I have filled in the form, but, I need a doctors note to send in with it, for them to get it before Jan 6th.

My problem is my doctors are closed apart from a few days over the holidays. I have been told that I must send a docs note with the appeal form. I just hope I can get an appoinment in time.

My head is reeling, this is the worst news I have received for a long time, and it couldn't have come at a worse time either

Just a thought. if your situation allows you could say that you are available for doctors appointment at anytime to suit doctor.
