[New to this.Ihope i dont bore you or be a nuisance.i so need advice/help.]Since 2004/5 I was getting dla high rate care and motorbility but in 2009 it was taken away from me by the 1st tier appeal board, ive appealed to 2nd tier but havent heard any anythink. i should point out that my case was put before the 2nd tier judge but evidence that i sent in to support my case got lost? the 2nd tier judge gave me another chance to appeal which i done but that was over 10wks ago and still i havent heard anythink i dont want to ring the courts in case they think im being to pushy. Appeals to the Social Chamber of the 2nd Tier Tribunal ( formerly called Social Security Commissioners) can take while to be heard, often a year or more.

My advice would be to contact the 2nd Tier Tribunal office dealing with your case , and ask if they've received the papers you sent. You are entitled to ask about progress on your appeal.

Not sure how you sent them, but remember Royal Mail lose about 4 miliion letters packages each year. !!!

I'd always advise anyone sending important papers to Government departments to use at least "recorded delivery', or if they can afford to by special delivery, both of which can be tracked and traced on Royal Mail by using the unique number on your receipt.

PLEASE READ THE SPOTLIGHTS AREA OF THE FORUM REGULARLY, OTHERWISE YOU MAY MISS OUT ON IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
