I'm sorry you disagreed with my decision to lock what I thought was becoming a discussion.

Gordon had already answered your question and in my opinion, no further discussion was necessary.

Jim has correctly set out the position regarding moderators decisions above.

Such decisions are subjective. I have been moderating and answering members questions all day. I have very rarely locked a thread.

There is nothing further I wish to add on this matter.

Gordon was as confused as me and the the other mods. Jim also queried the answers. So the question still stood and is very important to us on DLA. I've taken it up with Steve as I feel you acted harsh on such an important point.

But that's your choice has a mod.

I do not feel that a definitive answer can be given, if that is the way the payment system operates.

You could of course take it up with your M.P.

May I just point out that the shortcut to the thread that you have provided was to a debate in the discussions forum when it was open.
