Typical day? was created by Lyn
I have my atos medical after Christmas, and am getting anxious over how I describe my typical day.

Any hints or tips about how much info I give would be greatly appreciated.

Basically my day sort of goes like this...

I get up at about seven for my daughter to go to school, she leaves at about eight, then I have breakfast and a couple of cups of coffee sitting with the dog.
I potter around the house doing light household jobs, and do ironing in batches. If my parents are going into town, I go with them in the car, and do odds and ends of shopping.
When my daughter comes home from school, we have coffee and chat, and then it is usally time to start making dinner.

You don't say whether this is for DLA or ESA, but either way, look at the criteria and think about what aspects of what you do are relevant to mention.

For example, if you're claiming DLA and you mention having dinner, it might be helpful to mention if you get any help with that or have any problems preparing a proper meal as opposed to a bowl of cornflakes.

The medical is for migration from IB to ESA

hi Lyn
would your account of a typical day have any effects on the descriptors you filled in on ESA50.Example if one said could not mobilise more than 220 metres and then said take dog for walk(would one get any points for that descriptor)Probally for IB but not sure for ESA.

Careful consideration should be given as to how you answer this as all sorts of assumptions can and will be made bt H.C.P at you medical.

Are your problems physical or mental?
