Can anybody please let me know the following:

How long does it take for Atos to react on an ESA50 form, i.e. the time it takes between sending off the form and getting contacted by them with queries and/or details regarding a medcial examination? Thanks/ Wolf

Hi W,

There is no standard time for receiving notification of attendance of an ATOS face to face, after submitting an ESA50.

It used to be within a week or so, but the process seems to be taking longer recently.

Members have reported having to wait as long as 12 weeks+ before being given an appointment.

On the other hand, many members have been put straight into the WRAG or Support Group, without the need for a face to face.

As long as ATOS have received your ESA50 by the deadline given, the ball is in their court, so try not to worry.

Your current level of benefit will remain unchanged until a decision has been made by the DWP DM, and you have received written verification

How long until they make a decision?

Merry Xmas. :) :)
