hi could anybody tell me why when you have been getting dla for three years but now have to fill in new forms is this for a reassesment if it is why now is it because of all the government changes

Hi W,

When you were first awarded DLA, was the the award for 3 years? if so then it is due for "renewal".

Even, if the award was for a longer period, or indeed indefinate, a claimant can be reviewed at ant time after 12 months of the initial award.

This is done at random, with a percentage of DLA recipients annually.
