Just as a thought I have an ATOS direct phone number. It is 0800 2888 777. You can call them even if it is just to confirm receipt of documents. Usually they are quite helpful.

i havent actually found them helpful. just passed from them to dwp. we rung dwp and got a load of ...... waiting for them to ring back as it looks like that having taken any notice of expetional circumstances but i am not holding my breath

had a call back and they will not be applying the expetinal circumstances but saying something about 4th october 2011 that they made a decision but would not say what which i have no idea about and nor does my daughter. i just dont understand. they still want her to go for a medical.

they made some sort of decision on her claim on 4th october 2011 and it sounds like that she would have to go for a medical and they will not budge. i just know what we will have to go though the appeals process again as because he condtion is mental they cant or wont see what they are doing to her.

Pls hang on and do as this site suggests. Let them know how it affects her from day to day. I understand your concern..I am in the same boat although I have physical problems too. Again, it is not a medical, it is an assessment. Best Wishes.
