DLA CLAIM

Hi
I have just put in a claim for DLA about how long on average are people waiting for the first decision to be made,
assuming I do not get asked to attend a medical.

posted a DLA form on 4th Jan 2012 and just recieved conformation that I had beed awarded high rate mobility and middle rate care,the award is for a year. Its been a good day so far.
They recieved my form on the 8th Jan which seems very fast to most peoples experience on this forum.
Are all the claims dealt with at Blackpool?
