IS to ESA transfer confused was created by Aladinsane
Hello everyone!

I have been undergoing the transfer from income support to esa. I completed the form using the help of your excellent guides, included further evidence and returned the form recorded delivery which they received on 17th of December. Having not heard anything since I tentatively called the esa department dealing with my claim, after the usual security questions I was then transferred possibly to Atos? To be informed, "That they had duly received my completed esa50 etc and the file has gone to the decision maker who has yet to decide if I needed a wca or not? I was also informed that they had a backlog of cases. I guess this is quite ambivalent, well to me at least!

Hi A,

I am not sure whether you are asking a question in your post. :)

Anyway, this is the way the process should go :

Once you are sure that ATOS have received your ESA50 by the deadline given, the ball is firmly in their court.

If you have not already done so, you may wish to peruse our FAQ's from here :

FAQ’s

You will find a wealth of information there.
