disabled people and esa

hello,
were any disabled people(not politicians) part of the process that led to
the new esa questionnaire ?

You may find information on this in the benefit news section.

Some charities were consulted when the test itself was designed but whether they had much of a say is another matter.

I'm not aware of disabled people being involved with designing the questionnaire, which will have been produced by the DWP.

In fact, it's hard to imagine a disabled person coming up with the boxes 'Yes', 'No' and 'It varies', to describe their disability!
