RESULT!!

Filling in the ESA50 form nearly destroyed me - I have bipolar, have physical problems, which have left me confined to crutches and had strong letters from both my doctor and CPN - not to mention HUGE ammounts of detail on my form (all typed in the boxes).

As soon as the letter from JCPlus arrived, last Wednesday, saying I was in the WRAG, I SAW RED!!!
I steeled myself and called Belfast with copies of the evidence I had sent and told them the decision was wrong.
A snippy lady then called back shortly to say their decision hadn't been sent out yet!
So I challenged her and said that the letter in front of me said I was in the WRAG. She then blustered about when I had sent my medical evidence in, which I told her, and I continued that it was obvious that my evidence had not been read at all and quoted my letters and the note that my CPN had written at the end of the ESA50 form.
I said I wanted all my information to be read again immediately!

I received a call from my CPN on Tuesday to say that an apologetic man had called her to clarify my information and to check if I would be able to work in the forseeable future.
And today I have received a letter to say I had been placed in the Support Group for two years.

I am not at all good on the phone at the best of times, am now under the Home Treatment Team and am awaiting Cardiac monitoring all as a result of this appalling stress we have all been placed under.

I hope that this will give a bit of hope to those of you who are in turmoil.

That is really good news.

Hopefully you can now concentrate on dealing with your medical conditions, without the worry of another ESA WCA for some time.
