hi all im having my dla now for an indefinet period, will this mean i may still have to go through esa or pip in the future?

Hi A,

DLA and ESA are two totally seperate allowances.

Any award of DLA, will not exempt a claimant from being transferred to ESA, if they are in receipt of IB, SDA, or IS because of medical conditions, please see :

Who will be transferred?

All DLA recipients can be reviewed at any time after being in receipt of the award, (Even if indefinate) for 12 months, please see :

Further, all DLA recipients of working age will be transferred over to PIP in 2013, if the government's current proposals go to plan, see :
