My wife's health has deteriorated badly following receipt of the ESA50. She has a history of suicide attempts including hospitalisation. She is on several anti depressents and anti psychotic medication but it doesn't seem to be helping especially given this new crisis. Unfortunately she was discharged from Mental Health (after many years of having regular Psychiatric appointments) last year (they said there is nothing more they can do for her). She says she has thought about methods if she is found fit for work or work related activity (due to her extreme social phobia), to be frank I'm deeply concerned. If I declare this on the ESA50 form is there any risk of social services involvement given that there are children in the family (one of whom is disabled) or would any disclosures of this nature be treated as confidential? Should I voice these concerns from the form or would be safer not to mention them?

I am sorry but I really don't think we a re in a position to offer advice on this matter.

Why can’t you answer a question about my specific claim?

I think you need to get advice from someone with broader knowledge base than we do on the forum.

Where to get advice?

Sorry we can't help.
