WRAG to support group on written appeal

I can't emphasise enough how important it is to read and read again all the documents in the members area and make a note of the points that are relevant to you.

I was placed into WRAG when transferred from Incapacity Benefit. I completed form GL24 and received a letter back saying they had changed the decision in my favour.

Does anyone know if I am entitled to ask for a copy of the DWPs decision relating to my appeal that put me into the support group from WRAG, and when my next review date will be?

Hi KC,

That's good to hear, thanks for letting us know. :)

Please see the information on the following links, with regards to which ESA documents that you may wish to request from the DWP :

ESA medical – what forms to ask for?

ESA Forms

In particular there should be an LT54, as you have had the decision changed at the review/reconsideration stage.

Thanks for bro58.

I will write and ask for the LT54. I received a letter stating the had looked at their decision again and the appeal will not be sent to an independent tribinal as the decision has changed in your favour.

That was all the letter said. I was also lucky in the fact that I did not have to have a medical at any point.

Hi KC,

As it would seem that you did not have a face to face, you may wish to request the ESA85A as well.

You could name the LT54, and the ESA85A, then to cover all bases, you could also request all other documentation used in connection with your assessment and reconsideration/appeal.
