Transfer from IB to ESA was created by ALFIE
my wife was informed in November that she was being transfered from IB to the new ESA
She was sent a form to complete on her health which was sent off on 7TH DECEMBER 2011.To date has heard no more. In this time she has had a stroke and a number of scans.DWP were informed of this with medical letters.Today she received a letter from the local job centre to attend a interview on 14th march the letter says to go over what she is getting and advice on any other payment is may get .I rang them to say she has not been informed of any transfer they first said you dont always get informed which I know is rubbish. my wife had her IB stopped in July 2010 after a medical which gave her 2 points we appealed and won in January 2011 to this day she has never had written letter from them saying her IB had been reinstated. She did get her back dated money but not till april 2012.I am sure I am correct but I think she has a good case for complaint but dont know if I should go to our MP or write to DHP.

You forum name appears to be your real name, you may wish to change it in order to protect your identity, see

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

The DWP are legally required to confirm Decisions in writing, so if you have not received such a letter your should contact your local DWP office.

You can make a complaint to the DWP, see

Complaining to the DWP

and as it appears to have happened before you might want to contact your MP as well.

From what you have said in your post and the ongoing inactivity by the DWP in failing to reinstate your wife's IB following a successful appeal, it would be in your wife's interest to consider taking the matter up with the constituency MP.

Hi
I heard back from JCP about my ESA I have been put in the WRAG group which I feel is wrong so I will be appealing it. I feel that I should be in the support group. This has been very quick. I got the call in early December and the the letter late December and the form went back in mid January.

PS: I hope that everyone get what they want and they dont have to fight for what they need.
