WRAG Group help please was created by sally-jane
Hiya,I am in the WRAG group, apealling for Support group.
Question is.
I had a jobcentre evaluation re disability & work placement in 1998/9. (Trying to stay at work)The disability dr/ consultants/back to work people from the jobcentre came to place of works over a 6 week period at the local authority trying to establish what work I could do, if not the main work I was employed for, how they could make things better, choice of work, training, further education etc etc. The result from the jobcentre people was that they could not assist, could not find further employment within the local authority or elsewhere, recommended I be Incapacitated from work.Hence letter from Occ Hlth stating so in my letter of retirment due to illhealth in 1999.
Should not the Jobcentre people have a copy of this? should they not know I have jumped thru their hoops b4, should they not know thru letters from DLA/IIB consultants etc that the workplace is not for me. Now much worse than in 1998/9 so where do I stand re the WRAG/ Support/ pathway to work rubbish.

Hi pusscatsmum

Unfortunately anybody placed in the WRAG can be subjected to WFIs regardless of the disability.

With regards to your SG appeal, the documents relating to 1998/9 will be out of date and the DWP or tribunal may view them as such. There is no harm in including copies if you have them and stating that your condition hasn't changed or has worsened, but I would be preferable to have more up-to-date reports.

If you are required to attend WFIs your personal advisor will hopefully be more understanding of what you are able or unable to do.

Best of luck with the appeal

Derek

Hi,many thanks for the reply. I do understand many of my reports reviews etc are out of date, however if the jobcentre personel/consultants etc were employed to review me & stated no return to work & resigned me to the stay at home &take care scenario, than apart from my disability, worsoning, what has changed?
Am I solely there to provide them with work for themselves, re designing the wheel yet again,or is it to prove they were incompetent the firt time round & they wish to re adress the situation. Either way it sucks as being bad form.

Hello,
my esa payments end in December 2012.
Am I able to re-apply after that date, and if so, what are the rules/conditions for doing so?

Does the letter say why your ESA payments end, or is it the standard letter telling you what your payment will be between two dates?

Hello,
the letter gives my starting date on esa.( dec 2011). My question relates to what length of time elapses before I may claim again, once the 365 day period ends...and how I go about that.
