Does the anxiety and depression have an effect on your everyday life?

If so then mention it.

Yes it is appropriate to mention it. In fact I'd say it is obligatory to give details of medication.

More important is to go into detail about the anxiety, how it affects daily activities. Even keep a diary for a short time to give as examples, and refer to the members guides here to understand what parts of the ESA relate to mental health and how

Hi Chrissy,

There is a section on the form where you can enter all your medication and side-effects thereof.

You might find this helpful, from our members only claim guides

Hi :)
Yes definately, make sure you state all your medication and how it affects you physically and mentally.
I've been on med's now for over 15 years, and at my Atos Medical, i was given 0 Points ! for Mental Health !!??
I took my med's and told them how my Anxiety and Depression affected my daily life, and how my med's affected me.
I'll never understand how an Atos " Doctor " after 20 min's could possibly understand my mental Health conditions.
When its taken my G.P. 15 years, to fully understand !?
