Sorry but that is incorrect.

Although it maybe that in your own circumstances the premium increased your payments (by such as giving entitlement to a means tested benefit or increasing that benefit) it does not happen in all cases.

Although one maybe entitled to claim a premium it does not necessarily follow that ones payments will increase. Examples being cases of single people with other income, pensions, savings etc.

All cases need to be looked at individually in depth to establish if it is worth claiming the premiums or not.

Yes understand your point. Yes it should be looked at on a individually. I am still waiting to be assessed for care. Now been waiting 4 weeks without a phone call. So this extra premium is paying for help for me.
