Result of ESA50

I could hardly believe my eyes this morning whilst opening my mail. I could just see the Jobcentreplus heading through the little window of the envelope, cold this be the verdict already? I only posted away the completed ESA50 about 10 days ago.

"We have looked at your claim again following a recent change." My heart was in my mouth as i looked at the next line...

This is because of:
a decision on your capability for work. You have moved from the Work Related Activity Group to the Support Group.

From April 2012 your Employment and Support Allowance will be £178.05 a week.

I wept for about fifteen minutes, i can't tell you how relieved i felt. After all these months of feeling like dirt and starting to believe i was "swinging the lead", i finally feel vindicated.

IDS and Grayling can kiss my a***! I am not a bloody scrounger, i didn't ask for things to turn out this way, i have a right to a life like anyone else!

I hope that some of you guys (many of you a hell of a lot worse off than me) being migrated from IB after many years, are reassured that you will be placed in the Support Group too. The Harrington Review must have had an impact after all.
