Incapacity to ESA migration was created by Jasmine3234
As many others, I had to complete the ESA50 for migration from Incapacity Benefit (only been on it less than 2 years).
I already receive HRM, HRC DLA which was awarded earlier this year.
Anyway, I got the much awaited phone call today (five weeks after sending the form off with numerous amounts of paperwork).
A very nice gentleman phoned and informed me I had been put in the Support Group without having to have a medical :)
It is bitter sweet because apparently I will have to go through the whole thing again in 6 months...... however, for the time being at least I can relax a little.
I wanted to thank everyone here for their fantastic advice and guidance.
This site is invaluable ....... thank you again x

That is good news! thank you for telling us - and for your kind words about B+W.

Let's hope you can relax and forget all about DWP, even if only for a while.

Hi, I didnt know whether to start a new post or continue this one.
Obviously I am pleased I have been put in the ESA SG,without a medical, but do you think I should ask for copies of certain stuff, as I am going to be reassessed in 6 months.
I think I read somewhere on this site that it is the ESA85A.... I think? Anything else I need to ask for? Also, I hope it wont damage my original outcome by asking for certain documents? I am obviously not appealing at this moment in time.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks.

Have I done this incorrectly?
I understand the advisors are very busy, but I dont want to miss out on some advice because of this

Yes, it is a good idea to ask for the forms used to inform the decision, it will be helpful for next time round. You might find this helpful

Thanks, but you dont think it will effect my original claim etc ... I ask this because the forms seem to come under "making an appeal" or something like that.
Again, thanks for your help.
