Descriptors - hand problems

I find the information available very misleading. Manual dexterity etc. Is it either or?! with one hand and not the other.
I am right handed. Cannot lift a bottle of milk or write or pick up a pound coin, never mind fasten a button. Left hand useless. Recent surgery to remove a bone at base of thumb/wrist. Full year recovery IF successful.
Are us right handed physically abled to use left hand? Well, my left hand writing or should I say 'mark' is uidentifiable.
Can I cut food up -NO. Does this fit the descriptors for support group?

The test is for either hand, so you need to be unable to perform a test with both hands to qualify.
Being unable to cut up food is not part of the ESA descriptors, see
Qualifying for the Support Group

Doesn't help me much but, at least you have defined my problem.
Thank God for PDF forms/trackball mouse! Doesn't help with feeding ourselves nor opening things. Need other half to pop the pills for me.
