Hello

I recently sent completed and returned a DLA180 as part of the Right Payment Programme. Today I've been to see the Consultant at the Pain Management Clinic. Subsequently he has added Bu Trans patches to my regular prescription.

Should I contact Warbeck House regarding this?

Hi K,

You may wish to inform them of this new prescribed drug.

However, the important issue is whether using this morphine substitute painkilling patch alters your limitations or care needs.

You should also take into account whether you will suffer any side effects, you may not be aware of these until you have been using the patches for some time.

If you do suffer any side effects that increase your limitations or needs then you should make them aware.

Read and understood. In all honesty I'm not that happy about using them, due to the scenarios you've pointed out. However that's probably best discussed with my GP.
