DLA To stop was created by Metallichick
My DLA is to stop at the beginning of September as a time limitation was put on my award for 12 months at my tribunal. As it is due to stop the DWP have sent me a new form to fill out, should i use the same evidence that i presented to the tribunal back in March of this year or should i get all new fresh evidence? For example letter from my GP. letter from my husband out lining what he has to do to help me, copies of consultant out patient app & treatment. This information that i am talking about date back to august 2010 upto Feb of this year!

DLA renewals are treated as new claims, also the DWP are looking at your condition now, so if you can provide new evidence then it is to your advantage to do so.

If you cannot, then you can still use your previous evidence, but you will need to show that this evidence is still relevant to your condition now. This may not be a problem if your conditions are not likely to improve, but if this is not the case, it may be more difficult to prove your claim.

If you haven't already, please refer to the DLA claim guides, see
