Hi everyone,
I,m sorry if this info is on the website somewhere but i can,t find it.
Have spent the morning filling out the GL24 after only scoring 6 points in my medical. I have followed the steps from your guide but i cannot find out whether i have to send a doctors note with the appeal form?
Any help would be great.

Yes, in order to receive the basic rate of ESA while awaiting appeal you need to submit 'fit notes' from your doctor. The first one should be dated from the day of the adverse decision.

I sent mine with the appeal form when i appealed a no ESA Decision in 2011, attaced to the form with a paperclip.
I wrote on the GL24 Form.
With this GL24 Form i have attached a sicknote.
