Waiting game

Hi Ive been in the support group for 2 years with mental illness, I sent my last EASA50 to the decision maker and Atos with support letters from m GP and therapist I was kept in the support group without having to attend a medical my latest ESA50 was sent in nearly 6 weeks ago again I sent a copy with supporting documents direct to the decision maker, including a letter from my GP stating a medical would be detrimentl to my health and if they need any more info to contact him directly, Ive heard nothing, regarding a medical date , the waiting is making me very anxious I just want to know one way or another I do not want to call the DWP is this a normal length of time to be kept waiting after an ESA 50 is submitted, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you

My ESA50 was received on 13th March (Special Delivery with supporting evidence from GP and Counsellor) and I still haven't heard anything from them, two and a half months later.

I'm still getting IB paid into my bank. I don't want to get in touch with them, but my anxiety doesn't like this waiting game.

I'm afraid that the system is struggling to cope at the moment and everything is taking much longer than it should.

I was interested in this comment, is this recommended action by B&W?

I understand that, and it just proves to show that the system is flawed and needs scrapped (in my dreams!).
