LT54 and BRA1.doc was created by mumsgirl
I've just been trying to catch up on the posts and I notice that LT54 was mentioned a couple of times, as well as BRA1.doc. I had a medical for ESA in Sept 2011 which I passed and was put into support. I requested a SAR to get a copy of all my documents, but I don't recall getting these 2. My question is - should I have received them?

An LT54 is only produced if a claimant has a Recondsideration or is transferred from another benefit to ESA.

I am afraid I have never heard of a BRA1 other than Pete's reference to it in a recent post.

Form BRA1 is in effect a DWP ESA file front actions sheet, which contains a brief contemporary summary of a claim listed under the following headings:

Name/NINO:

WCA Outcome:

Prognosis:

Date Registered:

Effective Date:

Then there are tick boxes for the following:

DMACR:

MSRS:

CAM Tasks:

DASO Notified:

Then a tabulated box for

Calls: (Date/Time/Complete)

Then a free text box for

Notes:

From memory from my course two years ago now, the abbreviations refer to the following:

DMACR - Decision Making and Appeals Case Recorder

MSRS: Medical Services Referral System.

CAM Tasks - Customer Account Management Tasks

DASO Notified - Diary ASO (to book WFI's if applicable)

As this form does contain on one sheet all the claim information that is generally asked for by claimants, such as 'WCA Outcome' (ie points scored and whether placed in the Support Group/WRAG/No Award) and the Prognosis (length of award and future review date) etc it is generally a useful form to request if asking for ones case documents under the Data Protection Act.
