Telephone calls from ATOS & DWP was created by DaPa

"If a medical is required. ATOS will try and contact you by phone to arrange it, you do not have to take this call as ATOS will write to you"

This is in the guidelines regarding the call from ATOS, with regards to the call from DWP it says "they will attempt to contact you".

Are we obliged to take this call?

I am not aware of any requirement for a claimant to take a call from the DWP, however, there are many circumstances where it could be to your advantage to do so and of course you should not ignore a request from the DWP to contact them.
