I have a driving licence but dont feel up to driving and dont have a car,and dont plan to drive again although technically I can still drive its just left up to me to decide if i can or not.Im applying and now appealing dla for the first time is there any way to get high motability if you cannot drive youreself,any technical or legal angle,I can walk but with constant fatigue and dont walk like i used to because of illness

HRM depends upon your ability to walk (without pain/exhaustion etc), not your ability to drive.

Some (all?) areas give buss passes to people who have been, or would be, refused a driving licence by DVLA on medical grounds but I don't think this fits your circumstances.

Are there any restrictions when it comes to driving with regards to claimimg ESA on mobility or mental grounds???

As moderators, we can only advise on ESA entitlement and the like, and not how it affects your ability to drive.

You need to contact the DVLA see Medical Information
