Hi
Got my letter saying I'm in wrag, can't get hold of cadvice, so do I go straight to appeal or ask for the decision to be looked at again, this is making me I'll.

Hi,

Generally we advise people to go straight to appeal as a reconsideration is carried out as part of the process anyway.

Do please see:

How long do I have to appeal?

How to submit an appeal

Is there any risk to challenging a decision?

Hi
Does this mean then , that they look at it again first before they start the appeal process
Thanks

A reconsideration, by another Decision Maker, is done first - your papers will only be sent to the appeals people if the recon does not go in your favour.

Hi
Lady from cab rang today and said to get a doctors letter, and tell her she needs to put that I fit the discriptors for mobilising as I can't walk far without severe pain, . She also said that when I ask for appeal another decision maker will look at my claim again as someone on here said yesterday.

Asuming your GP is prepared to write this for you, it would be worth making them aware of the various distances covered by the mobilising descriptor, so that they can include this in the letter.

You must be careful not to direct your GP to avoid diminishing the impact of the report.
