Hi
I was put in wrag group, so asked my go for a letter for my appeal, she has given me a very good letter explaining why I cannot mobilise 50 metres without severe discomfort, so hope this will help me get into thr support group. Also on a good point she never even charged me for the letter.

Good GPs are becoming increasingly rare, so hang onto this one :)

Good luck

Gordon, i completely agree with you on this one.

My GP wrote a brilliant 3 page "support" report for my husband and also gave all copies of relevant speacialists letters to back up his report as to why husband should be in S/G.

He refused to take a penny, as he knows the trauma my husband has suffered as a result of his problems over last 10 years.

My question to you would be that should i highlight "with highlighter pen" all the relevant points, just to ensure that Atos and D/M do not miss any relevant points, as at the end of the day, husband is only a "number" with the hundreds of forms that they have to deal with!!!!!!

Thanks.

Radhika.

It's entirely up to you, but remember this a letter from your GP, should you be altering it, even by hi-lighting sections, and if you do, is there a danger that it will be seen as contrived?

OK understood. Thanks.

However, will it be advantageous to make cross references to his report??? IE, in GP's report he confirms"
