Hi,
I had my medical for ESA over 3 weeks ago. I'm already on middle rate care but my condition has definitely worsened. The medical was horrendous. I'd written and asked for it to be recorded and I stupidly forgot to check this was in place until remembering half way through the interview when it was too late and they claimed no receipt of this request. I showed her copy of letter but it was too late. Also she was quite funny about me not having report from psychiatrist (despite a thorough one from GP). She said, "...what's not working, why have you been ill so long?..." I was gob-smacked and insulted. I have chronic mental health problems (I'm 28 and was initially diagnosed with anorexia and depression aged 13 though now they are considering a diagnosis of BPD due to severe self-harm).
Anyway, I've rung twice to see if there is an outcome of the assessment as I also suffer from anxiety and this is not helping (combined with my DLA being up for review now too). They said nothing was on the system. Have you any advice as to what I can do about any of this??
