ESA WRAG - ADVICE was created by Natalie
Hi,

I had my ESA Medical Assessment 2 weeks ago. I received the letter this morning, stating that I have been placed in the Work-Related Activity Group.

I am not sure If I'd should appeal or not? As I do not want to rock the boat and lose my ESA WRAG altogether. I am dreading the thought going to work-focused interviews and plus going on courses/training. As I stuffer from anxiety/panic attacks. I struggle a lot being in large environment or in a group of people.

Do you have to go on trainings/courses? I am a single mum of one, who is 7. I don't get help from my ex partner at all.

Anyone experience being in ESA Wrag? Much appreicate.

Who shall I phone to get the hold of ESA50 Medical Report? My local JC or the telephone on top of my letter, I received this morning?

Thanks. :)

For the medical report, see

ESA medical – what forms to ask for?

You need to phoe th DWP on the phone number on the letter, your local JC+ does not deal with this.

With regard the WFIs, see

Work Focussed Interviews

Work Programme

As your child is over 5, you will need to attend.

You are required to take part in Work Related Activity, this can include courses.

With regard your appealing, see

Is there any risk to challenging a decision?

How long do I have to appeal?

How to submit an appeal

Sorry, but Gordon's post wasn't there when I started typing.

If Gordon is prepared to answer a query which has already over 3,100 threads on it, then there's no problem.

Hi Natalie,
I notice you said you had your medical 2 weeks ago. Did they phone you first to let you know. I had my assessment 3 weeks ago now and I'm beside myself with worry every time the phone rings and turn into a complete mess when I see the postman comming. I have been trying to prepare myself resdy for the next step but it's so hard to take it all in so good luck with whatever you decide to do next.
