Hi
Asked for a list of reasons why put in wrag group, letter arrives the dr [phrase removed] he say I can walk up to 200 metres which I can't, he said do not take sufficient pain killers which is inconsistant with the level of disability reported by the client. I'm so down [phrase removed].

If you believe you meet the Support Group criteria, then you can lodge an appeal, this will give you an opportunity to dispute the ATOS "doctors" opinions, see

Is there any risk to challenging a decision?

How long do I have to appeal?

How to submit an appeal

Qualifying for the Support Group

12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)

Do I have to attend WFIs while I appeal?

Yes, you are obliged to undertake WFIs but it might be possible for these to be done over the phone.

Bates2n - the letter does not tell you how the DWP made their decision, you will need to ask for your ESA85 (if you had a medical) or ESA8a (if you did not have a medical) or a 'statement of reasons' from DWP
