Appeal was created by ben202
Hi
I was put into the WRAG and i am appealling against this decision as i feel very strongly that i should have got into the support group on the mobilising Descriptor. I did send numerous supporting medical Reports that outline my lower and upper limb disabilities, I phoned the DWP up to ask them to send me the statement of reasons and a copy of the medical report from ATOS (1st class please) which was delivered 3 days later!! my question is do the ATOS actually look at all the supporting evidence (Medical Reports) as it said on there report that the available evidence from the ESA50 and Med 3 has been used to give advise in this case?? now i am in the process of filling the GL24 appeal form in, should i send all the reports in again with the completed GL24? plus some very recent Reports i have obtained shortly after sending my ESA50 form back in May 2012, also does it go for you at an appeal if you have a representative from the CAB or Welfare Rights? Regards

The ATOS "doctor" is required to read the ESA50 and any evidence attached, see the WCA Handbook section 3.1.2

Yes, you can send the reports in again plus the new ones. I would make it clear that some of the documents were originally supplied with the ESA50.

Statistically, having a Represenative increases the liklihood of you winning an appeal.

Goof luck
