medical cancelled

Having been on anti-depressants and anxious re my medical today I went having followed guidelines from the site took my daughter who took a day off work to come with me and my wife after waiting 10 minute sat in my mobility scooter the young lady came out and told me she was unable to do the medical because I suffered a stroke 18 months ago and as such need to be seen by a doctor no amount of pleading would change her mind to see me today, so after a week of worry and poor sleep I now have to wait again for another appointment for a medical I am angry and fed up Mick

Hi PM,

This is awful, it is true that claimants with certain conditions must be assessed by a Doctor, and not just a run of the mill ATOS HCP, who could be a nurse, midwife, OHT, etc.

However, this should have been actioned once they were aware of your past problems.
