What sort of wording should I use in the covering letter, but want to imply I have sent it to the because ATOS might lose the original. Which is exactly why I am sending it, but don't think they would be impressed with that kind of attitude

I would simply say that you are sending it for the attention of the Decision Maker and detail was is attached, e.g. ESA50, medical report from..., letter from.... etc.).

I am just doing the final bit of the ESA50 form, but am a bit stuck.

In the about you section, About your illnesses or disabilities.

The B&W guide saysto say how your condition affects you, not in
terms of the activities and descriptors in the rest of the form, but in terms of what your life is like.

What kind of thing do they want to know, if not whats in the descriptors?
Do they want an autobiography?

I have filled the rest of the form in first as the guide suggested and come back, but I have covered anything in the rest of the form, so don't know what kind of things they are looking for you to put in this section.

How it effects my day to day living was put in additional infomation

Can anybody give me any pointers?

AWH

First of all, there is no reason why you should not repeat content from other areas of the form if you feel it is appropriate.

In terms of describing how your disabilities effect your daily life, all I can do is give you an example from my own situation; I used to be an avid reader, because of my ME I can no longer read a book, the effort of concentrating to read, rapidly tires me so I can only read a couple of pages in detail, and my short term memory has become so bad, that I usually forget what I had previously read by the time I have come back to it. :(

Fingers crossed now for a satisfactory outcome. Whats the waiting period now before you hear anything?
